HAPPY GO LUCKY

Today I

now locked myself out of my own computer. Can remember the password for:"coffee break" hint. Any help by anyone would be greatly appreciated. I just need a hint of what that would be. Yikes. so, I am now at the library for a while till I can either figure this out, or pay the computer guy $40 to unlock it. It needs more memory and my old hard drive installed since I can't download stuff, re: photos, javascript, and adobe. LOL

Oh well today up at 4:30am and then i witnessed the most beautiful sunrise ever. I just had to grab my camera and take some shots.

I did this with the flash on once, and it made a neat effect. Then a few with out. I will post just as soon as I can then. I keep wanting to do more computer work now since things are flippy floppy for me at the moment but, that allows me to get off the computer, discipline to only 1 hour per day here and hopefully keep taking more of our carpet out, so we can lay the floor down the way we would like. Just thinking about wooden floors as living by the mountain, carpet gets way too dirty.

so I was thinking.

that I can't add photos,(which I just love to do all the time) as my computer has no more memory to store them and I do have them saved on photo sites, but, that doesn't mean I still can't blog every day. LOL

So, on that note. today I went to the feed store and off to the Ranch market. It is a veggie/fruit market in two locations of mesa. Most know about it and some don't. I can actually buy 1 full case of lettuce for us and the farm animals for $2.00. Today was a bargain day again. I saw this bunch in the corner of mixed match produce or just cases of fruits/veggies that are getting old or they wish to clear out. I before purchased like 12 crisps apples for only $1.00 per bag and they were delish. I am just more conservative which steams from being married to Mr. overly Conservative that will probably will be pretty weathly one day as he is smart. :)

So, for today's bargains I received:

125(1case) of nectarines$2.00(split with another couple, as I asked this couple in spanish if they wanted some), 3lbs of pears $1.00, 3lbs of green grapes $1.30, 3 cantaloupes $1.00, 5 heads of lettuce $.95, 2lbs bananas $1.11, 2lbs of Zucchini $.30, 1 bunch of radishes $.34= my total $8.00 and something cents. I am so happy when I can shop and beat the buck. that's me alright. LOL

being busy.

well yesterday I traded 10 dozen chicken eggs, for 6 jars of the Best jalapeno green pepper jam. Yum!!! just get out some cream cheese/crackers and the jam and yummy! Also, you can use cream cheese/jam rolled in a flour tortilla and place uncut in the refrigerator for 1 hour. When you take them out, they are more fluffier, so cut them and enjoy.

Ok, so early this morning, around 6ish, i was putting laundry the washer, and heard the feed bag area where we store everything with the dog and cat food, crinkle. I was thinking could it be that mouse, whom is pooping all over the entire house. I found poop in my scrapbook room, kitchen counters, snack cupboards(gross) and then on the floor, behind the refrig, stove and between cabinets. Yikes that darn mouse. So, sure enough, it was him as I went to scoop some feed, he was winding 100 miles per house inside the bag as I got out the scooper and the modular mate container. I caught that bugger once and for all and throw him in that container and feed out the chickens. He got away of coarse, as i was going to make Rautouille. LOL he used to crunch on a dropped but, I couldn't get it at the time, corn tortilla behind the refrigerator. I was thinking that mouse poop can make you sick, so each time I found some, i clean up that part very good. yuck! My friend had one too and she is 10 times more cleaner then we are. Must be from the field.

Well, then my Jesus says today, can we get an ardvark for all these ants that come in or stay out, we can take turns passing it or lending it to the neighbors. LOL

today!

today went to the feed store to load up on hay, afalfa, and grass for the farm, then feed of coarse. I got asked to help out Mrs. Kelli at the Recycle offices for the girl scouts activity again, which is so nice to help them when they need me too. then I am going to the Scrappin Sampler at SBE(best store ever) today, where you make a snipet of a teacher's project to see about taking their classes. it is only $2.50 and then you get a coupon to spend in the store of $2.50. So, it's free~! YIPPEE!!!!

they do this about twice per year. then I am going to try and finish my 10-8x8 pages for the Memory Making crafts yahoo board, technique swap. I need to get the title or instructions printed and glued on each page. I picked layers and flowers.

then we are supposed to meet up with this kind lady whom is giving us two more ducks. That will make 8 for us as we lost 2 this year, and then I can't wait to see them so we can give them names. Every animal has to have a name. We lost Booster the white roosters, 1 week ago. Sad! :(

that happens in our animal life as when you rescue or take in strays, you never really know the history of that animal. Last year, we had 8 litters of hens born alone. Now we have one hen laying on about 15 eggs, and we shall see what happens. Hopefully more chicks!!!!

Okay that is all for now and I wished to have more photos posted but, my computer is totally out of memory and I need to decided what programs to delete to free up some space. Photos tend to take up too much on the hard drive.

On Monday

I received a RAK from my sis in Queen Creek of Scrapbook items. LOL So, funny as this is the 3rd package she has sent me of stickers, Tim Holtz's Charms, and some other stuff.So, very nice. Thanks!

Whew!!!!

I am back from Creative Escape and what a grand Thursday-Saturday fun time. I came back home on Sunday, to help defray the costs of the wonderful, Sheraton Wild Horse pass Hotel and Spa, with my two roomies,    Fay and Renee.

 
 
 I had stopped at McDonalds to bring them both a Cheeseburger, as I knew they might be hungry! Then I was off and arrived at the hotel around 12:15pm, which was a perfect time. I had unloaded my goods by the front door this time around( as last year, I had no idea I could do this and I carried everything up the hill to the door) oh my what a HOT exercise. LOL Then to register and off to my Room #4122. P.s. I love these showers No roomies    in the room though at the moment but, they were off to the fun!
 
 
We had a blast and started Thursday with Resistering for CE, where we got a cute bag wtih a decorated water bottle, a lanyard wtih our name tag, raffle tickets, and our Friday/Saturday lunch tickets. Then I was off to  the Technique Boutique, where I met Renee and then she went with me,  from station to Station to  make things for our classes, or just get a treat. then we took a Cookin Bookin class @ 2:15pm and make a cool cookbook. Love it!

 
  Very relaxing this time, I feel that I was able to just truly enjoy myself.  I also, then got to attend the Truck Show and it was to meet each teacher.  
 
  Then we had to go to the Opening Ceremonies at 5:30pm, where they gave the teachers cool aprons that were made  
 
 and then time for our yahoo board party. YIPPEE!!! I was so busy gathering my sandalloons to give for those ladies whom RAK me and I  was the hostess again for the Candy swap(FUN) and trying to find a nice table to swap,

 

   my candy I brought was Hot Tamales.
 
  that I never heard my name called for a door prize, but, the gifts I got were more then enough! Wow!!!

 I received extra items from my Let's Escape partner Faye, she made me 3 cutest as ever books,one cute CE labeled pen,  cherry brads and a nice hug and I am her Secret Sister revealed. Yippee!!!

then Susan my paint can sister(as I was her's also) gave me some Heidi swapp Credit cards, a K and Company Journal, and some other very nice items. So, very sweet to continue to think of me. Thanks!

Susan and I, Connie,Michaela and Susan and I, Linda King and I, Lisa and Sandra, Connie Buck and myself, Susan in Ny and myself, Lisa gave me a cute poem book, Veronica, Shermala and Tammy, and I can't remember this ladies name with the fish net stocking. LOL

Then my Secret Sister! oh my, did she spoil me once again.Esther,  was revealed as I had an idea whom she was. YIPPEE@!!!! Such a generous lady with a very kind Spirit!!!! 1st of all she gave me a cupcake from Sprinkles for Thursday of Keylime, and then Friday of Lemon Coconut, for hosting the candy swap(thanks again so very kindly for that). Then she gave me my very own $20 gift card to Sprinkles, a $15 gift card to Starbucks, and some other stuff. So, very nice Esther.thanks from the bottom of my whole entire ♥!!

then I received a nice necklace with a rooster on it from Candi as she loves how I have so many animals, a gift from Veronica of Bath and Body works trial sizes of lip balm and a hand santizer, Cindy L. gave me a cute gift for all my animals posts on board this year(LOL) a nice black zebra tag, a cute purse size pink and black zebra stripped kleenex holder with tissues, Kyoko gave me this cute adhesive tape and some other stuff from Japan, Debbie gave me this cute box with a charm and notepad, Lisa M. made me her very own poem book as she waited to get in to CE. So darn cute!  Connie gave me some jelly bellies,  then I got rak here and there from Shannon and Timi, Donna made that cute bow for me as she could not attend this time around(we missed you and Denise and Sonia and so many others)  and then off to the Candy swap,  

 
  So, much yummy stuff, we ended up having all of us 22 participants and a great turn out. We had everything from fruity penquins, to york peppermint patties in a cute clear box with a ribbon handle, to jellie bellies in CE colors, to a Tequila sucker with a worm in it. I brought to the swap, Hot Tamales.

 
 then it was time to go to bed as tomorrow was a busy day. I had nothing to eat since lunch but, I was not very hungry and snacked on some crackers in the room.

then on Friday, was breakfast. Very delish of the  crispest bacon ever, eggs, bagels, cinnamon french toast, vararaties of muffins, breads, fruits, little mini boiled potatoes that are out of this world(bring on the Keptup), and the best part,Star Bucks coffee, Everything was delish.

 then our group #5 was called Petunia's, and it was time to attend our 1st class of Lynette Carroll, where we made a cute hanging photo frame.

 
  It was so much fun and I finsihed about 3 panels and then time to go to our 2nd class. At this one with Debby Schuh, we made a acrylic album for CE that is adorable and I finished this in class, then off to lunch.

We had a nice brown bag of 3 different choices, give your ticket and grab lunch. I picked a Roast Beef sandwhich on French bread wtih chips, a apple, cookie and icetea and Lemonade.

then off to our 3rd class of marah Johnson and we made a Creative Imaginations box with 12 mini books inside, doing glimmer mist on flock paper and fun!

Then off to our 4th class with the one and only heidi Swapp and we made a cute book that flips to another one and another one and another one and aonother one and so on.

 

 LOL It was fun and I never did this before ever. In this class Amy and kelli(our prize coordinators came in) and said they lost our group list(which I found out they did this to everyone). LOL funny chicks! so we ended up with a roller stamp, a bottle of Zip Dry and an acrylic album. Thanks! as what a nice prize,    

then I dropped off these handmade cards for the soldiers to send off to their loves ones, that I made. 

 
 Then we went to our room to take things back and off to dinner. We had a sit down dinner tonight of delish pasta, salad, flat cracker bread, french bread and a delish tart filled with fruit. Yum! We had a presentation from heidi about taking risks and she showed us some of her old scrapbook pages and told stories about them, oh so cute how we all started as well.

Then off to the Friday night Extravagenza. It was making a 9x9 box and inside was an album and it was so neat. We did the 1st cover and then the 1st page and off to sleep. I think there was like 18 pages total to complete.

 Then CE left us a gift in our room of philophsy facial cleanser, a cute dessert recipe book with teachers etc. recipes inside, heather Bailey's flower pattern, A heidi Swapp purse hanger. Thanks!

then the next day was that delish breakfast again, and off to class #5 which was Deb Crause and Paula Cheney.

 

mary with Debbie.  We made a cute wall hanging out of chip board and it was so detailed and fun from Basic Grey. After I add my photo, then I add a cute glass knob on top. 

 then off to Class #6 of heather Bailey

 and we made a book and a cute album, so very colorful. Then off to lunch for a box lunch again and this time I had a turkey sandwich, apple, cookie, chips, lemonade and tea.

Then off to class #7 with Tim Holtz(the man) we made a cute luggage with a journey grungeboard book inside and actually finished in class. Hurray!!!

 

then off to our #8 class our last and final of the CE. It was in Carol Wingert's and we made a pyramid and a book to fit inside. Oh so cute and I loved everything we did this year.

then off to our rooms to get ready for dinner and closing. We had a nice dinner of keeping up with the tradition of Eating Dessert 1st.

 
We had a mound of chocolate with cake inside and cream. and a side order of a coin purse in a zebra theme which inside was either a bracelet( that meant you won 2 tickets for next year) or 3 cute beads. I got 3 cute beads and I made a charm with them. then we ate salad, chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots and a sprig of brocoli.

then they auctioned off this grand prize 1st:

the winner was Terri McVee, that I met from London at CE2008. Wow!!!
 Then our Guest Speaker was melanie Wellman and she talked about her sister Shelby(whom works for Bazzill) that had a brain tumor she found right after CE2008 and her life, inspiration, and success. Then it was time for all the Lamps

   
 to be auctioned off as each teacher, present and past got to make a lamp out of a basic one from IKEA. What a huge success as heidi's lamp  
was auctioned off for $8,200 and Tim's lamp sold for $29,000. Wow!!!! then the rest before we given away from a drawing and what a great fun night. They gave all the ladies the option of signing up again for 2010 and I waited till I just entered the lottery.

Then on Sunday I slept in a bit and got up and showered and walked around the entire Hotel and took photos, looked at the ducks swimming etc.
 
  
 I had a grand time, very relaxing and very fun this time around. I was thinking perhaps since this was my 2nd time, I knew where it was, was very familar and so therefore I was more "in the know" this time and it made it much more funnier. I also wore a pink glitter crown all weekend with big Jeweled green brads. Fun!!!!

 

this was from the tulle that was pre-ordered and cut and each person received 23 yards for $5.24. Also, I took part in the charm swap, made 85, 10 for teachers, the secret sister swap, Let's escape swap, the ribbon swap, paint can swap, and the second chance 29 charm swap. 

 

then I loaded the van and off I went home to Jesus and these furkids that were so darn happy to see me. LOL

 

Already registered for the Lottery 2010, which will draw on Feb. 15th.

 I was out watering the animals in the heat, when Jesus came out and said;Mom packages came and one is very heavy(poor son is so used to this as he has been home throughout my 26 RAKs that came, and all my swaps, secret sister packages and now Let's Escape ones. I asked him to open the mail to make him feel better. but, he didn't go for it. LOL
